Preema International Ltd was founded in 1990, by Ajit Kohli. Mr Kohli had been in the industry since 1960 and had a renowned reputation and was well respected in the industry. Starting out working from an industrial unit in North West London, Preema International Ltd very quickly gained a reputation throughout the UK’s janitorial and catering markets of providing quality products and first class service.  

After 17 years of continued growth in these markets the directors bought a freehold site of two acres in Luton, Bedfordshire in 2007. In order to increase the size of the office and warehouse facilitates in line with customer demands. This has become the distribution center for Preema. This decision was taken to enable the business to continue to keep to its original service ideals, but on a larger scale and maintain standard and growth. Preema always keeps stocks so we do not let the customer down at any time and to keep our success rate high.

Since the move, the Preema brand has continued to be a respected and trusted name throughout all the different UK industries that have utilised it. The brand has also gained more strength across the globe in recent years and has underlined the company’s international status becoming a brand leader in some countries. The company has listened to our customers needs and so we have developed new products and even introduced whole new product ranges to help accommodate what end users really require and help source products for our clients.

Preema International Ltd is still run by the Kohli family today and this means that it is still as determined as it has ever been about providing the very best customer service that it can and keeping to those originals customer service ideals.

The company is very proud of its prestigious customer base which includes many blue chip companies. Our future aim is to grow and become more recognised in different market sectors.
